In May I had the great fortune to meet Turin and the Politecnico di Torino. Thanks to a grant from the University of Castilla-La Mancha I have made a one week trip to Turin where I could work as a teacher in the Master A. Carpinteri and Professor G. Ventura lead.

From my brief stay I would like to
highlight the great reception at Politécnio emphasized by Professor Ventura and his team and also the great experience of teaching class there (and in English!).

Besides all this in the unique setting of the city of Turin.

Puentes

For many bridges are just that ... bridges. For Civil Engineers are a dream, a cause of wonder, a singular element in the landscape.

And if it is as nice as this
truss metal bridge... Who could resist taking a photo?

Compartiendo investigaciones (sharing research)

Much research is useless if at the end of work you do not share your results. For this, the researchers we strive to send papers to the most prestigious scientific journals, attended congresses of scientific ...

Each year marks the group's national meeting of fracture (GEF: http://www.gef.es/). This year the meeting was in Bilbao (Spain), March 21-23. So there we went the Solid Mechanics Group of the University of Castilla-La Mancha to share our work ... our science.

Here I am

A blog further into the wonderful world of blogging.

Today there are blogs for everything, to learn to cook, sew, learn gardening, to manage software ... Today "what is internet, there is." And there is something that comes into existence it is my research career which, after many years of being almost compulsive reading different blogs, I decided to share.

In this blog you will find a compilation of my scientific publications and my best moments in what I like about my job: teaching.
